When some one says photography, what do you think? Cameras, lenses, shutter speeds, f-stops, computers, Photoshop? I think of light, beauty, emotions, how we connect to the world around us, the desire to exist. Once I was at a state park with friends and we came across a field of wild flowers. I made everyone stop to admire what was before us. Someone yelled out, damn photographers, making us stop and appreciate beauty. Yea, that is what it is about. Art is connecting the things that are not connected in our busy disconnected world. When you look at my photography, may you see beyond sight, and be inspired to live.
